ASA Magnet therapy

Magnet therapy

Magnet therapy is based on the use of specific magnetic fields on the human body and can be used to treat pain and including inflammation and edema.

Clinical studies show that magnet therapy can be effective in the treatment of osteoporosis (fragility of bones) and in promoting fracture sealing and repair and healing of soft tissue (tendons, ligaments and muscles).

ASA Magnet therapy is based on the scientific principles* of pulsed magnetic fields and is characterized by low frequency and low intensity.

There are many research results and clinical studies which show that Magnet therapy can be an effective treatment method. Read more about research and tests here and search for “magnetoherapy”.

One therapy, several options

Treatment with magnet therapy can stand alone as a form of treatment or in combination with other forms of treatment, for example: Physiotherapy, Rheumatology, Sports Medicine, Orthopaedics, Traumatology and Geriatrics.

Magnet therapy effective treatment

  • Osteoporosis and promotes fracture sealing
  • Reduces inflammation and is a pain reliever
  • Heals wounds and soft tissue
  • Can optimize sports performance
User-friendliness – for the practitioner and the client

Magnet therapy is a non-invasive form of treatment and works by having the client’s body wrapped around the magnetic belts or by having the client lying on the treatment bench while the magnet travels back and forth along the client’s body.

  • Magnet Therapy is a pain free form of treatment
  • No side effects
  • The client keeps thier clothes on during the treatment
  • The therapist starts the Magnet Therapy and can then leave the client until the treatment is finished
